Wow, my reblogging of the comic con perv call for action caused quite the stir on my Facebook page, but it outed a lovely little caveman troll who needed to be deleted and proved once again, I have an awesome amount of girls and guys who rush to my defense. Apparently I’m suppose to shut up and sit and look pretty. ::insert eye roll::
But in the interest of looking pretty, you should check this out. So let’s get to some groovy cool photos, eh? And it’s some amazing Lydia Deetz cosplay! Click on the link or the photo to go to Ryoko-Demon’s DA page, fabulous stuff!
This kid had lost his dad in the crowd, and freaked out until he saw the Flash and Wonder Woman. He went up to the Flash to ask for help, because he knows him
My heart melted

D’aww!! That kid knows who the REAL good guys are! :D

(Took me a moment, but once I got it…maaan! lolololol
Hi there! This is me as a human version of Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I started cosplaying when I was younger and much skinnier. I just got back into it, and this cosplay has been by far my most popular. Being overweight, I was a little leery of dressing as a sporty character, but the reception of it has been great! Thank you for this blog!
Really cute casual! I like the icecream + truck, it adds an element to the simplicity of your cosplay.
I love it! :D Very well done! (I tend to like the human cosplays of ponies a lot better than the full-furry versions. The full-furry ones creep me out. x_x;;)
Absolutely lovely Princess Celestia cosplay!
I keep seeing pics of the MLP cosplayers EVERYWHERE. I do not see how they did their cosplays well, or how any of the costumes are “good”. I ranted about this before and someone sent this pic to me for the umpteenth time.
Sure, the nice photos look all shiny and sparkly…
While I’m sure more hardcore cosplayers could come up with more elaborate costumes, it’s clear these girls were just doing it for fun…and that’s fine. I don’t see why we’re critiquing and analyzing cosplay costumes as if it’s srs biznezz.
If a bunch of teen girls wants to have fun and dress like the ponies on a lazy summer afternoon, then that’s fine. If they want to go to a convention dressed that way, more power to them. I’d probably take pictures. :D (And no, I’m not a teenage boy, nor am I a lesbian. I’m a 32 year old married woman who just loves collecting ponies.)
I’ve seen far, far worse cosplays at actual conventions, and I’m sure I’ve had my badly put-together moments myself, so who am I to judge?
I just…do not understand uproars like this..
